_Do I need my recipient's shipping address to send a gift with Goody?_

You do not need a recipient’s shipping address to send a gift through Goody. When you send a gift via email or a gift link, the recipient enters their own shipping address when accepting the gift.

# **How address collection works**

When you send a gift via email or a gift link (the default option), recipients provide their shipping address during the gift acceptance process.

# **What information you need**

To send a gift, you only need:

*   The recipient’s first name
    
*   The recipient’s email address
    

A phone number is optional if you want to send an SMS notification.

# **Recipient privacy**

A sender never sees a recipient’s shipping address. Goody does not share recipient shipping addresses with senders.
